The 2nd International Conference on Data Mining and Intelligent Computing (ICDM 2025)
has successfully concluded!
From October 24 to 26, 2025, the 2nd International Conference on Data Mining and Intelligent Computing (ICDM 2025) was successfully held in Guangzhou. This conference was co-hosted by Guangzhou Maritime University, Shantou University, and the Guangdong Digital and Intelligent Technology Research Association. It was organized by the School of Artificial Intelligence and the Department of Scientific Research of Guangzhou Maritime University, co-organized by the Internet of Things and Network Professional Committee of the Guangdong Computer Society, Guangzhou Aosong Electronics Co., Ltd., and the Guangdong Model Modern Industry College - Software and Intelligent IoT Industry College, and supported by AiScholar (Aisikelan) with full-process technical services.
The conference innovatively adopted a hybrid online-offline model, presenting a total of 4 cutting-edge keynote speeches by experts, 11 presentations by young scholars, and 12 poster sessions. It built an academic ecosystem covering keynote speeches, poster presentations, oral presentations, and real-time interactions. The frequent knowledge exchanges and in-depth dialogues during the conference attracted experts and scholars from over 50 universities and research institutions, including Vanderbilt University, Ocean University of China, Guangdong University of Technology, Macao Polytechnic University, Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, Zhuhai University of Science and Technology, Guangzhou Tenglong Information Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Jibu Zhiyao Software Service Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Qida Education Technology Co., Ltd., and the North Automatic Control Technology Research Institute, to participate in multi-dimensional academic exchanges.

Opening Ceremony
On the morning of October 25, the opening ceremony of the 2nd International Conference on Data Mining and Intelligent Computing (ICDM 2025) was held. Professor Zhang Jinwen, Vice President of Guangzhou Maritime University, and Professor Han Guoqiang, Chairman of the Guangdong Computer Society and Honorary Chairman of the Guangdong Digital and Intelligent Technology Research Association, delivered opening speeches. They warmly welcomed the guests, emphasized that "data mining and intelligent computing are the core driving forces in the era of the digital economy, and this conference will build a key bridge for industry-academia-research integration", and expressed expectations for the conference to promote innovative breakthroughs in the field.

Keynote Speech
The Keynote Speech Session was chaired by Professor Xiang Dan, Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence of Guangzhou Maritime University, and Professor Hong Yinghan of Guangzhou Maritime University respectively. The conference was honored to invite four experts to share their innovative research achievements and forward-looking insights: Professor Wang Ling from Tsinghua University (recipient of the National Distinguished Young Scholar Fund), Professor Hao Zhifeng (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shantou University, and Director of the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Manufacturing Technology of the Ministry of Education), Professor Sang Hongyan (Director of the Personnel Department of Liaocheng University and Distinguished Teacher of Shandong Province), and Professor Huang Han from South China University of Technology (recipient of the National Young Talent Program). Their sharing sparked enthusiastic discussions and intellectual exchanges among the participating scholars, creating a strong academic atmosphere on site. Oral Presentation Session
In addition, the conference specially set up oral presentation and poster presentation sessions, aiming to build an exclusive platform for participating scholars to conduct in-depth academic exchanges and discuss the application of research results. The Oral Presentation Session was chaired by Professor Cao Hui, Vice Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence of Guangzhou Maritime University, Associate Professor Xiang Yi from South China University of Technology, and Professor Hong Yinghan of Guangzhou Maritime University respectively. Scholars from universities and research institutions such as Guangzhou Maritime University, Guangdong Open University, and Zhuhai People's Hospital actively participated. Focusing on the core themes of the conference, including computational intelligence, algorithm optimization, data mining, and intelligent technology application, they successively presented their latest research progress and practical achievements. They also conducted in-depth discussions on key issues such as breaking through technical bottlenecks and cross-field integration paths, and finally formed a number of forward-looking academic viewpoints, further enriching the academic exchange ecosystem of the conference.

Closing Ceremony
This conference was an academic event that brought together cutting-edge innovations in intelligent computing and data mining, and promoted the transformation of global industries driven by intelligent technology.
